Dear Parents / Guardians of new New Haven Academy students:
Welcome to the New Haven Academy family! We’re excited that you have chosen to join us for a memorable and challenging high school experience for your child.
In an effort to help us get to know each other, and to help you prepare for next year, we are scheduling orientation sessions with all new members of NHA during the month of June. Please read below to find out details about these events:
New Family Orientation Sessions: These sessions will give us a chance to get to know you and your child and give you a chance to learn more about who we are and what we expect of your family to help your child succeed in this learning community. Components of the orientation sessions:

Please check the details below to find out about how to schedule your orientation session and what to bring:
How to sign up for a session: Please review the following session dates. Select at least 2 dates that are most convenient to you; then, please email those dates to Greg Baldwin @ Gregory.Baldwin@new-haven.k12.ct.us, call 946-8995, or register at newhavenacademy.org with your chosen dates. We will then get back to you with one scheduled date.
Dates: Tuesday, May 31st, Monday, June 6th, Monday, June 13th, Tuesday, June 14th
Times: All sessions run from 5:15 to 6:15 PM
Who should attend: You and your child.
What you must bring to the interview:
• A 2015-2016 Report Card through the 3rd quarter;
• The course name of your child’s current math class (Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, etc)
• If your child is in Special Education or has a 504 Plan, an IEP, a modification plan, or other special education information.
